I reached out in the dark and brushed her hair behind her ear. My fingers stroked her back. My yes was more a breath than a word, but it was enough for her.
She bent me over into the pillow, and a whiff of her tooth- paste hit my nose before her breath brushed my lips and erased every other sensation. Our kiss was like all the kisses of two people who think they know everything about each other and then discover an emotion so big, so overwhelming, it can take their relationship to a whole new level—or destroy it.
