Gallery Deleted by xHam - Now&Future Thoughts
Well Hammys......
By now you already know that xHam has gone into panic mode and deleted untold numbers of galleries/vids, I'm sure as a response to all the news about P0rnhub deleting things too.
My pics were one of the casualties (most likely because my profile isn't verified) regardless of the fact that the most "risque" pic was me in a bikini.
This isn't me trying to start a pity party for my page, there are many uploaders who had hundreds and hundreds of galleries taken down without reason, and many of them weren't posting anything that was out of reason either. Those uploaders are far more deserving of sympathy after this latest round of xHam deletions.
As far as what happens in the future on my page, the only thing I can say for certain is that I won't be creating a verified pic of myself for the sole purpose of posting pics.
Many of you know that I work as an RN, and that any kind of "controversy" surrounding social media is grounds for immediate dismissal.
That being said, me being verified on a porn site by having a pic of me holding a sign is pretty much ironclad evidence to get me fired, and then never hired again to work in a hospital. It's the same reason that I've never posted a pic of me in my scrubs.
To put it bluntly, I've worked too long and too hard to risk my job. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat and can understand.
Things have changed since I first signed up on xHam (obviously) and in a way for me personally, it's almost a good thing that my pics have been taken down.
I'm still not happy about it, but I am trying to find the silver lining as it applies to me and my page only.
As we wait to see what happens with xHam in the future regarding uploads, I'm guessing that soon many people will be setting things to either "Friends Only" or "Password Required".
Whenever that gets sorted out I'll revisit uploading pics of me, but until then I think I'm going to just sit and wait with the rest of you.
At the very least, I will promise to repost my profile pic, since that was clearly the favorite for many of you ;P
