How to judge a friend request now?
How do you judge whether or not to accept a friend request?
In the good old days of xHamster (pre the purge of December 2020) it was relatively easy. You could have a look at the potential friend's videos or photo galleries, their favourites and any stories or posts. It was a good way to work out whether you had similar tastes, shared porno interests, and might potentially form a bond of some sort.
Indeed, some users would refuse to even entertain a friendship request if the person did not have some content of their own.
Now it is bloody difficult as new users (unless they sign up as Creators) cannot post pics and picking favourites from the current dearth of photo galleries is not easy. I feel kind of sorry for people joining xHamster now. Unable to post, they start at an immediate disadvantage and will never know how good the site once was.
Despite the fact I cannot post photo galleries and I refuse to add videos until xHamster sorts itself out, I still get friend requests on a daily basis. Some are genuine enough - fellow doll lovers - and are happily accepted. Unfortunately, however, others are from women (which ordinarily would be great!) who simply want me to visit their websites and buy their pics, videos or cam shows (which is not so great). I did not join xHamster to buy porn. I joined to share. Now potential friendships have apparently become a commercial relationship.
