Caught!
Here I am, using the school showers for the last time before summer break when I hear the changing room door open. Nothing unusual for a Friday afternoon, there’s usually a few girls who come to have a shower before they head home after football practice! however this time I don’t hear female voices outside the shower room, instead I can hear Male voices... and ones I can recognise from my maths class!
”How’s about we take these then? There’s a whole set of clothes and someone’s bag!” One of the boys said, I was quick to think and turned off my shower and went to grab my towel from the back of the door but it wasn’t there! I’d left it with my clothes in the main changing room... I’d have to wait until they’d left before I came out now and I knew I’d miss my bus if I waited any longer!
I heard footsteps and laughter heading towards the door and then the gentle thud of the closing door. I quickly darted out of the shower and bent my head around the corner to see if I could spot anyone else in the room... the answer was no, but I also couldn’t spot my clothes! The boys had taken them!
Everything was gone... my bag, towel and clothes all missing! I had no idea what to do as I was completely naked in the changing rooms and the likelihood was that most everyone else would have left by now! I stepped into the middle of the room with my hands on my head in anger and before I knew what was happening there was a large flash of white light coming from the doorway followed by intense laughter.
Zack and Oliver were stood there with their phones taking pictures of my whilst holding my stuff. I froze and didn’t know what to do... it took me a good few photographs before I covered myself up and ran back towards the shower room. I heard them laughing and then I finally heard them leave.
I sat and cried in the shower for half hour before I walked out to the changing room to see all my things back where I had left them! Topped with a note.
”Hollie,
You will meet us in the memorial park tomorrow morning at 9am or we will post the photos of you everywhere!
