I am not a wealthy man, my budget for this project was relatively tight. However, I had two reasons for choosing quality camera equipment:

1. I believed that my forthcoming website would only succeed if I produced quality material (fairly obvious).
2. I had no knowledge or experience of either photography or videography. I needed cameras that would produce high standard results even in the hands of a fairy cake engineer (I’m actually a Baker, I like to make the profession sound more interesting and complex than it really is).

The video camera was a very professional looking Sony FX 1E and the stills, a relatively idiot proof Fuji. I loved the results from both. Total cost at the time, around £3000.

“My, that’s a big one”, Claire observed with a naughty grin as she entered the lounge and spotted my video camera.

She had changed into the red dress. It was tight and long and arousingly low cut, showing off her curves to perfection.

I need to briefly explain that, as I narrate this story, I shall be including many of the images and video clips that I took at the time, and continue to take, allowing you a clear insight into this fascinating “work”. I am also going to be very open about the finances involved throughout, both expenses and rewards.

My website was being built as I began these shoots and should be ready to run live in three or four months time (also costing me around £3000). I did this first shoot in July 2005, the website actually went live in January 2006.

I had calculated that, before I can run the live website and begin charging customers to view my pictures and videos, I need to have around twelve shoots under my belt. Then to regularly update I will need to shoot around fifteen or sixteen times a year. I pay each model £300 per shoot and my expenses vary from £30 or £40 to over £100 per shoot if I need to pay for a serviced apartment or hotel room.

“Can we begin by getting a good look at you in that dress? Just walk into the lounge slowly, towards the window, ignore the camera and allow me to capture those curves”. I asked Claire, sensing that she was willing to please.

My plan was to shoot three scenes (so three different outfits) and to take the stills first – at least a hundred from each scene – then shoot around twenty minutes of video per scene. (This later changed as I learned how to get more for my money).

Claire smiled, I realised very quickly that she loves being complimented. I could tell she was a little nervous as I began taking still images of her, which had the effect of calming my own nerves. One side of me was watching Claire as she posed to my directions, the outline of her panties and suspender belt quite visible through the thin material of her tight dress, the other side of me was thinking “I’m fucking doing it!!!”.

In that first stills scene I took 88 usable pictures (these days I never take less than 100 per scene, usually 200). I began by taking lots of images of Claire’s curves in that dress, lots of cleavage, “upskirt” and bending over shots, legs crossed and uncrossed as she raises the hem of that tight red dress before removing her panties.

I almost always include “worms eye” shots which entails me having to lay on the floor while the model stands over me, legs parted (the things I put myself through for my customers!). I was single so was she, so I made no attempt to hide the enlarged bulge whilst lying in this vulnerable position, in fact I made sure she could see. I had gone commando, deliberately.

“Thanks Claire, great work. Can you slip your knickers back on for the video”.
