I'm writing to ask everyone to consider what we could potentially lose on a new platform: namely, the chat functionality. While text messages and sharing simple images or links to videos isn't much, my take on other platforms (like S p a n k B a n g and P o r n h u b, to name two of the biggest) is that it could be even worse.
For those wonderful people who do the posting, consider how difficult it would be to have people watch your videos without a chat interface. I understand the practical matter of needing a convenient hassle-free way to post is very important. I'm asking everyone to consider the important secondary consideration of communication. I hope we'll be able to find both posting and communicating functionality in one platform/website.
