Ancient poetry of being a man!

Those of you who knew about me, will also know I didn't chose this nickname for nothing... For those who doesn't know, I like to read and write, I read and research a lot... and I have wrote around 60 poems in my native language, unpublished and rarely shown to anyone...

Today I'll share two poems here written long ago that can considered as "antique" but also feels as fresh as written today.. One of them written approx. 400 years ago, tells about a man's feeling while checking the beautiful women out that they having a laugh at him,"Beauties laughing at my back" written by: "Ruhsati" (an ancient turkish poet)... the other one has a religious/mystic undertones but talks about love in a very "straight to heart" way!.. ""Aphrodite" written approx. 100 yrs ago by "Neyzen Tevfik" (another and one of the biggest turkish poets)... Beware that what I shared here is my own translations to make it readable for you... They're originally written in Turkish... So they may feel a bit out of the place... But they're intense more or less... So have a happy and horny readings y'all!..

BEAUTIES LAUGHING AT MY BACK


O! the beauties laughing at my back,
Don't know if my footmarks are weird..
What did I said that made you laugh so hard?
Don't know If my tongue or language is weird..

All of you, passing by me at night,
Burning me with your fever and the might..
Now Why are you looking at me like that?
Don't know if my ankle or arms are weird..

One of yours' name is the heaven...
But if you're a human being, it's too hard to get..
It's inevitable to peek at all the wonders embodied..
Don't know if my eyes or mouth are weird..

Here I stand with my broken heart,
Don't know how to find my better half here..
Even if you be an angel I still doubt you got any use for me,
Don't know If my language or existence is weird..

APHRODITE


When I got into the chapel of past eternity
There was the Aphrodite, at the altar of love
There was I fell in love in some hostel of deprivations
There was the Aphrodite, tasty like the union wine

Early on a midnight, up above this ancient, vast sky
When I’m standing before a monument of beauty
The sun was listening the mystery of the creation
I heard the name of Aphrodite, in the Lord’s salutation

I knew my aim was true, The truth is my existence
Thus like the night I had, perking up to myself again
Either just a legend, or the reality I’ve been memorizing
There was the Aphrodite, in the book of separation

Hear me as the sound of the pipes, or as the vibes of nature
See I’m all about love, easy to speak, anxiety in the mind
Whenever I reach you, at the point of an euphoric entrance
There was the Aphrodite, playing my instruments of love

Not any religion in the world, neither the politics can change this
This World of wonders and beauties, She’s like a stepmother to me
Until it becomes clear in my mind, all the secrets of living the life
Here is the Aphrodite, in my holy grail of ingenuity wine

All the lives fled up above by their own will, reached the sky
Most of them passed their time with expectations and ordeal
Since I begun to question, the cruelty that you all thrown away
There is the Aphrodite, right in the twinge of my conscience

Whenever I hear my hopeless heart cry for love
As it puts me back on track by every sin I’ve done
Whenever she frees my condemned soul from penitence
There will be the Aphrodite, in the fondness of a mirage
