Xhamster Seems to Hate Everything but Videos

Gotta say, as someone that much prefers still images over videos, Xhamster seems to be waging all-out war to ruin the site for people like me. I first noticed that all my galleries are showing as "Only for owner," which can only be changed by admin. Then I noticed that 99% of my favorites are gone, replaced with an hourglass and the hover message "Waiting on moderation."

Then I checked photo search, and it's an absolute joke. You can sort by relevance/date/views/rating, you can select a handful of date ranges, and then you can chose straight/gay/shemale orientations. That's it. You can no longer select categories from the photo search results. Also I tried a search for shaved pussy and got dick pics on the first page of results. Does Xhamster need anatomy lessons? Perhaps they should watch some of the videos they're pushing. I'm sure that'll help them figure out that dicks are different than pussies.

This is on top of them killing stories entirely, and making posts unsearchable. At this point it's something like 75% of the reasons I visited Xhamster are no longer available, or broken so badly as to be worthless.


I'll bet the dating part gets attacked next. Xhamster clearly wants to be a paid porn video site, and is trying to slowly get there. Just look at the black bar at the top, in order it's: Videos, Live Sex, Pornstars (also videos), Creators (again videos), Channels (still videos), then Photos and Dating, with Subscriptions & My News tucked into a ... menu like they're ashamed it's there. Creators even has the title "Top Amateur Porn Video Creators" when you load the link.


If they're planning to keep things like this, I won't be visiting much in the future.
