Earlier today, I got a huge shock when a friend informed me that Kay Parker passed away over a year ago. Seeing how I usually keep up with news of porn stars of the 70's, 80's and 90's it had taken me by surprise that I hadn't heard that news. I even considered the possibility that I did hear of the sad news and it simply slipped my mind. But this couldn't be possible because Ms. Parker was hands down one of my favorite porn stars of all time. A few months ago, I included her in a post of women that I wished had done interracial. If I had known she was dead, I would have mentioned it in the post. BTW, I did come across a scene she performed with mixed race stud Billy Dee. If this puts her in the category of interracial stars, so be it. I would have loved to have seen her go one on one with a BBC or two. But her passing is a huge blow to her fans like me.
Born Kay Taylor Parker on August 28th, 1944 in Birmingham, England, she grew up in a modest, conservative household. This was the golden age of porn when adult film creators were trying to make movies with a plot and acting along with explicit sex. Soon afterwards, porn director Anthony Spinelli talked her into doing her first sex scene in "Sex World" (1977). Her first explicit sex scene was not an easy one. Most ladies might not want to continue in porn after an experience like that, but Parker's demand from filmmakers and the fans of porn became incredible overnight.
