A Ban story.

India banned a group of porn websites in 2017 or 2018 as a result of some high courts ruling, as they thought banning was the solution to reduce ****** towards women, and yet here we are in 2023 watching porn on the same websites. The real solution was to give proper sex education to the people or atleast growing up students, but OH NO most would not because of the stigma attached with the topic "SEX".
we are so discouraged about talking about sex that most people go to porn websites to talk about it. :D

Although websites initially tried to bypass the ban by giving users different domain addresses, some were consistently banned, but after 2020 because of the quarantine shutdowns many porn OTT platforms popped up and I believe it was one of the reason why most OG sites are accessible right now as government realized there is no point in banning these sites as people will always find a way to watch porn. ;)

One of the principles I follow in life is to never find solutions that has the potential to become future problems, even tho sometimes it is impossible in life I try enough, In this particular banning case it was not a solution but another issue which resulted in making India a hub of domestic porn OTT's . We might become the next adult industry hub after USA going at this rate . :I
