Sex in the cold is the best! I'm not wrong!
I hear tell that summer, the sunnier months, are the best times for sexual adventures. That those warmer days are perfect for such activities. But I'm not convinced at all.
Certainly good weather encourages less clothes but approaching nakedness only simplifies things it doesn't make it better. Less clothes is just a convenience surely.
It could be argued that hotter weather drives up sex drives. I refute that heartily. Yes, you are surrounded by far more uncovered skin which will always drive sexual attraction and so, by osmosis, push the need for sex higher. But unless you have good air conditioning then sex in the hot can often be uncomfortable and underwhelming.
It is the mention of air conditioning that brings me to my next point. Actually my very point. Love making coupled with the cold is, as far as I am concerned, where every right minded sexual adventurer should be running.
But cold showers I hear you scream. Cold showers reduce the sex drive! No, no they don't. It's the complete opposite. When you step into a cold shower, your body immediately reacts. Blood vessels constrict, heart rate increases, and adrenaline surges. This physiological cocktail can have surprising effects on your sexual health. The physiological response to cold water, including the rush of adrenaline and endorphins, can stimulate libido. This is particularly noted in men, where the cold induces a hormonal response that might increase sexual desire.
In fact some experts encourage regular ice baths to drive and improve your sex drive. I can't speak with any authority on this one but, weirdly, it feels correct. That doesn't mean you will find me in an ice bath. We all need to take the little comfortable steps after all.
But I do fly a flag for winter sex. I know I'm probably far hornier when the nights are stretching and the daylight shortening.
I've been lucky in my life to spend a considerable amount of time in front of open fires on dark nights. Mostly in buildings but sometimes outdoors. Wild winter sex with flames dancing just out of reach isn't a fantasy it has been my reality and I can't recommend it enough.
But all cold weather love making should be experienced in my opinion. Coming in from deep snow, stripping out of the multiple layers to warm each other is electrifying. Quickly fucking outside by just pulling your layers aside, assuming you can, is eye opening.
Coming from the North of the UK means in my youth wearing no warm clothing on a night out was usual. So al fresco fucking at temperatures approaching zero was usual too. Not that the UK ever really plummets in temperature below zero.
