Over the past few days, I’ve been working hard on Anaya, aiming to make her as realistic and immersive as possible. I even treated her to a make-up session to enhance her features and added a unique tattoo that reflects her backstory and the universe of WorldRise. Every detail counts to bring her to life and reinforce her identity.
Highlights of the Recent Progress:
• Facial Expressions: My next key focus is to ensure Anaya can convey believable emotions. This step requires meticulous work to maintain realism in her animations.
• Lighting Mastery: I’m refining the lighting to perfectly highlight her skin, textures, and the overall atmosphere.
• Realistic Hair: Still a big technical challenge, but each adjustment gets closer to the fluidity and texture I’m aiming for.
• Oculus Complexity: One of the biggest challenges is balancing high levels of detail with the technical limitations of the Oculus, which can’t handle too many polygons. This requires a lot of optimization to stay true to the artistic vision without compromising performance.
