Caught. Sort of...
I was out for my evening hike and had a chance to get naked at the end. I can see the parking lot about 3/4 of mile from the end. It was empty which meant the chance of coming across another person was very low. it was also night time and quite dark. I could see well enough without a light to hike. But if someone came up, time would be very limited to slip on shorts. I was carrying my new pink shorts last night as well as my small backpack with the rest of my clothes. The idea was that if someone saw me naked from a distance, they would not be sure what they were seeing. They might guess that I was naked, but wouldn't be sure. I could slip on the pink shorts and still look pretty much the same in the dark of night.
The hike back to the car was great. I saw several cars, but they could not see me. I got close to the road where there was no turning back. About 1 minute or so of walking to get to the road. No cars came and I was feeling good. If a car came, I would have enough time to slip on my shorts before they even noticed I was there, but there was no place to hide. So I would need to just keep walking in my pink shorts and backpack like everything was normal.
I made it to the road and all was good. A little more than halfway across the road, I saw headlights coming from the left side. I quickly started putting on my shorts. I stumbled, but got them on in plenty of time. and kept walking. About 15 seconds later I was walking up the drive to the parking lot and the truck passed behind me and continued down the road. I was sure they saw me. I was just barely up the drive. They would have seen me with my pink shorts, my backpack, my shoes, and nothing else. I wondered what they thought
I didn't have to wonder long. The truck started slowing down and finally stopped a few hundred feet down the road. My heart was pounding. I was figuring out what I would say if they confronted me. I was sure they didn't see me naked, but they probably thought they saw me naked! And of course, I was naked before that.
I picked up my pace and got back to my car by the time they had stopped their truck on the road. I got in, started my truck and ultimately drove off. By the time I left the parking lot, they were gone.
Sorry if the story was boring, but I had a great time and wanted to share it for those who might find it fun to read.
