Ratings
I thought some folk might be interested in the way I rate the clips I watch. The way I rate clips is fairly simple. If I like the clip, I usually rate it Average (3), unless it's just poor quality. If I like the clip, but there's an element in it I don't like, I'll downgrade it by one, rating it Poor (2). If I don't like it or if it's blatant advertising or or if it seems to be intentionally titled to mislead the browser, I'll rate it Very Bad (1).
If I like it and there's something more, surprising or exceptionally well done or even something even more indefinable, I'll rate it Good (4). I very seldom rate something Excellent (5). That would have to be absolutly outstanding.
Of course, as with anyone, how I rate a clip is based on my own personal opinions and expectations. I always try to comment, explaining why I disliked something, though I only comment what I actually rated a clip if I rated it Excellent (5).
