I've been online for a good many years. I've chatted in different programs for well over a decade. I've been very fortunate to meet some really wonderful people that to this day, I still call friends. However, I've met some douchenozzles too. However, one of the biggest issues I've had is with people who misrepresent themselves.
I don't like liars. Never have. It was just the way I was raised. In the last several years, I've come in contact with several people who have claimed one thing, but it was discovered later on that they had been, lets say, less than truthful. I had really started to lose faith in my own radar; had I become an asshole magnet in both my real life and online as well? That changed last night.
I've been on xhamster for well over a year. In that time I've met a couple of people, had my heart broken, and watched a lot of porn. While on the site, a gentleman made contact with me, and we became chat buddies, of sorts. He lived in the UK, and did porn. He's also in his 60s. I know, right?
He told me some time ago that he would be doing porn shoots in NYC in early September and wanted to make arrangements to meet me for dinner or a drink. I told him I thought it would be fun, so I agreed.
We kept in fairly close contact over the last couple of weeks, and Friday night arrived. He messaged me after I arrived from work, and after he'd made the trip across Pennsyvlania. He asked how my day was, and I told him that I had gotten out of work late, and was exhausted. He was so sweet, offering a raincheck until the next evening. I agreed.
Having had to work Saturday, I was really hoping it wasn't going to be as brutal as Friday. It was, but at least I had help. Our IT contractor had come up to the office for the day, on his own time, to help me with a huge infrastructure project. This is the guy I slept with off and on for a year and a half. I wore a low cut shirt, and he said he thought that was payback enough. The infrastructure job was supposed to take about 4 hours. It took 8. By the time I got home, I was exhausted.
When I logged into YIM, SS immediately IM'd me. I told him about my day, but we agreed to meet around 8 for a drink in the bar of the hotel where he was staying. I arrived by taxi at 8, and waited in the lobby. He came down shortly, and I was met with a warm smile and one of the best hugs I've ever gotten. We spent the next 5 hours getting to know each other better over Jack and cokes, and Maker's Mark. It was one of the best evenings I have had in a very, very long time. Always the gentlemen, he offered to let me spent the night if I thought I was too intoxicated. I told him I needed to get home to my daughter, so he offered to pay for my cab. I tried to refuse, but he wouldn't let me. He then walked me outside and we chatted until my cab arrived. He gave me a very sweet kiss, and we parted ways.
