Is the skirt for me?

I was shopping one day and saw this skirt I wanted badly. Figured - buy it - you just say it's for the wife anyway. I get to the checkout and the girl clerk, along with a guy "bagger", are looking at it and commenting how nice it is. Then the guy says, this will look quite nice on you! I was surprised and the girl immediately said yes - it's very nice! I caved and said it was for my wife but I might have to rty it on at some point. The guy came back with, stop back some day and tell me how it went. I did go back a couple weeks later but he was not there. Not sure if we'll ever cross paths again, but if it ever happens again, I'll go back the next day!
