when I first joined this site, I decided to put my quirky sense of humor to work on my personal info in my bio. after over 4 months of maintaining a joke bio based on the actual bio of one of my favorite writers of all time, I've decided it's time to kill this meme. Between the people that didn't get the joke or recognize it for what it was and having to explain it to them (often in single syllable words so they understand what im saying), I've taken it down and replaced it with factual information.
so without further ado, here is the old Joke information I had posted:

I began my writing career covering athletic events for Eglin Air force base, after having joined up upon my release from jail which had caused me to miss my high school graduation. I later went on to write for Rolling Stone magazine. I am best known for my unique form of journalism and writings such as my work with the Hell's Angels and my study of the presidential campaign trail of 1972, as well as my sometimes excessive use of d**gs and alcohol and wild and outlandish statements on a wide variety of subjects. I ran for mayor of Pitkin County in Colorado, but was unfortunately defeated (by a margin of only 400 votes). I now reside in Aspen, Colorado on a ranch which has since become a national landmark among a certain sect of people.
well, there it is, the joke that (just like the person it was based on) has passed away.
for those of you that got the joke or recognized it for what it was, congratulations on being an educated and well read individual. for the rest of you, my old bio was actually the bio of the late great Hunter S, Thompson
if for some silly reason it angers you that i used a comedic bio, perhaps you may need a surgical implantation of a sense of humor. after all, this is a porn site and not everything you see is meant to be taken seriously. if you're one of these, feel free to give me a laugh by ranting and raving about it in the comments
