"A genderlicious guide to shopping with 0% re
I had an idea that addresses a problem common to folks who are big and tall, but I was thinking mreo along the lines of the crossdressing and transgendered communities. Here it is in a nutshell...
I recently downloaded a program called FastAccess which offers a free trial on a facial recognition program and it actually works very good; but does is a bit glitchy as all new programs are in development. My idea was "What about a program that scanned your body and provided you with a more accurate means of purchasing clothes than the number system we currently use?" The technology isn't even new as TSA uses a more invasive version of the software concept to look for prohibited items in secure airport areas. Ask any CD, TG (m2f, ftm), intersexed person or someone with a less than typical body shape and you'll see that it is very frustrating to shop in a world that matches sizes by gender (and does a poor job at that), and the fear and anxiety of going to stores who may or may not treat you with dignity and respect. Online shopping removes the awkward feelings and treatment part of the program, but it is nearly impossible for anyone but cookie cutter gender examples. Ultimately you either gather up your courage and take your chances in public, or waste a lot of money online for clothes that don't fit.
Most folks have no idea how horrible the entire ordeal really is for people trying to piece together a wardrobe with any of the above, but for those who do know what I am talking about, know that this idea of mine would be an instant hit that would light online shopping on fire as for the first time in their lives people, who are human beings btw, can live in a world that is a little less ugly.
I'm not rich, but if I was I would run with this one! It would probably get tons of publicity because it involved social outcasts that the media loves to humiliate and ridicule, but as clothing manufacturers woke up to not just servicing "niche" services, and rushed to be the industry leaders of shopping for online apparel.
Hey if you are rich contact me and I'd give you all the details just for a copy for myself, and you could retire as a wealthy visionary/genius. IMPO this is how the apparel, sexual products industries would become the epicenter of a revolution in how people shop, and whoever took it and set the pace... might be the next Levi Strauss or Frederic's of Hollywood with one key difference... middlemen, storefront costs and all of the other benefits that I haven't even dreams of yet.
If that's you, contact me and I'll hand you a goldmine in exchange for clothes that I feel fit my gender identity, and just knowing that thousands of people struggling with gender identity had one less that to make them feel like lepers.
