Double standard censorship

within the last day or so i created a blog on here posing a question about if a certain image found on a specific user's profile was a depiction of a violent act or just BDSM. i provided the source of the image in question and let the users of xhamster voice their opinions on the matter. this led to a lively discussion spanning roughly 100 comments, all of which were polite, non-vulgar, non-insulting, and thought provoking.

roughly an hour or so ago i came home to discover that blog has been deleted by this site, however the image in question remains on that user's profile. seems quite interesting to me that the violent image is permissable however a healthy and friendly debate on the matter is not.

this blog is not for a rehashing of that debate, its obvious that talking about it is not permitted. it is simply to inform users on the fact that the site does and will allow violent imagery, but will rapidly censor any attempt at discussing weather or not violent imagery such as this picture should be allowed on this site, especially by a user who is now in a position in which they are an active representative of the site.

so in summation, what we've learned here today is that we should all feel free to post any violent image we want, as long as nobody talks about it. talking about it is not ok.
