I've been thinking lately about the pet peeves I have when it comes to porn and thought I'd share.
To be clear, a pet peeve is something generally considered of minor importance to most, but is notably irritating to you.
For example, bad cameramen who shoot from terrible angles or don't shoot what you want to see are alive and well in porn, unfortunately, for the rest of us. That wouldn't be considered a pet peeve because it's something most EVERYONE gets irritated by.
Riccc's Porn Pet Peeves [In no particular order]:

No, I do not have a foot fetish. It's actually more about aesthetics. It's irritating seeing ugly bright white or pitch black things stuck on some dude's feet while nothing but naked flesh is surrounding him. It's different when it comes to the ladies, and I don't mind when they wear any number of erotic accessories because they are meant to stand out. More often than not, dudes keeping their damn sneakers or socks on, or the tired bandana or tattoo thing, are ways to be more than just a stunt cock. -Obnoxious groaning/moaning.
If you can't be cognizant of how you're perceived enough to determine what's coming out of your mouth to be either sexy or aggravating, then you aren't going to get far in an industry where fanbases easily quadruple for those who've got a clue about how to be sexy.
-Condoms
I care about the health of porn performers. I really do. I see them as much more than trained seals with holes and schlongs and I've always been interested in knowing more about them as people outside of the business. But certain elements make porn what it is and condoms ain't one of them. The adult film industry has done remarkably well in preventing the spread of ***. Because performers occasionally acquire the virus doesn't make the industry careless or reckless, as is commonly reported. Knowing rubbers feel quite different from raw sex, one is compelled to seek out porn that lack them so that they may live vicariously through the appropriately raw performers.
