How I met my wife

So about 19 years ago, some time during the winter of 2000 my ex-girlfriend told me about a girl friend of hers that was looking for a roommate. well as it happened I had a male friend that was looking for just such a situation. So on the given night my ex picked my friend and I up at my apartment and drove us to her friends house. The drive was cordial and rather non anticipatory. My goal was to fuck my ex and I suppose to hook my friend up with the new girl...but I did not really give much thought to that aspect of it as I was concerned with my ex. When we arrived, I was less then impressed as the building, belonging to the friends father in-law, was rather dilapidated. The stairs leading up to the broken door were chipped away and the door itself looked crooked in its frame. After mashing the sad looking buzzer buttons my ex's friend came to open the door. Due to the lack of a working light in the foyer, it was dark and I was not able to get a good look at her, but she greeted us kindly and bid us to follow her upstairs. The stair case was a disaster, broken treads and banisters, it was in such disrepair I felt like this place should have been condemned. But on we went past the first floor, and the second to the third and when we entered it was a relief. The apartments themselves were more hospitable than the disconcerting climb had been. Once inside I found what I had not expected. A pool table, a nicely decorated apartment...and a drop dead beautiful woman. I mean a woman so beautiful she made most of the girls at my University I thought were hot suddenly seem just par..... i was so taken aback by how pretty she was all I could think was...OMG Im here with the wrong girl. Suddenly the Idea of hooking my friend up with my ex's friend seemed the biggist mistake I had ever made, as she was so much better in every way..... to be cont.
