How to Cuddle

Cuddling is a way for people to express affection physically. k**s cuddle up to their parents, couples cuddle amorously, and friends cuddle, too. And while cuddling may come naturally to some, it's a very foreign and uncomfortable thing to others, especially those who grew up in very "hands off" environments. For those of you who want to cuddle but aren't really sure how, here's a little crash course.

1) Put your arm around someone's shoulders. This makes most people feel comforted or protected, and is easier to do if you're the taller one. Your hand can hold their upper arm or hang loosely off their shoulder. If someone puts their arm around your shoulders, lean into them with your head, or put your arm around their waist.

2) Put your arm around someone's waist. If someone does this to you, you can put your arm around their waist as well or around their shoulders.

3) Rest your head on someone's chest or lap. If somebody puts their head on your chest, wrap both of your arms around their shoulders and hug. If someone puts their head on your lap, stroke their hair gently.

4) Hold hands. You can put your palms together in a manner similar to a handshake, or intertwine your fingers. Even just resting your hand on top of theirs is a nice display of affection.

5) Put your head on someone's shoulder. If someone does this to you, lean your head gently on theirs.
a) There is also a way to do this for couples. While a couple is sitting, the guy puts his arm around the girl and lightly touches or strokes her arm. The girl will then snuggle into the guy's neck. You can hold your hands free or do whatever else you want. It is very intimate and close this way.
b) This is a classic cuddling move that's even practiced in the a****l kingdom!




When To Cuddle With a Girl

1) Cuddle while watching movies. Pop in a scary movie. If she's scared, she'll probably want you to hold her. Throw a protective arm around her shoulder.

2) Cuddle when she's tired. When she's tired, she may just want to place her head on your shoulder or lap. If she places it on your shoulder, you can put your arm around her. If she places it on your lap, caress her hair softly.

3) Cuddle after sex. This is often the hardest time for men to cuddle because they're wide awake after the deed. It doesn't take much effort though. Let her snuggle up to you and place an arm around her. As long as you don't fall asleep, she'll be happy.





Classic Cuddling Positions

1) The spoon. Place yourself directly behind her on the bed, with both of you lying on your side, Put your arm around her. This leaves as you the "big spoon" (the one doing the cuddling" and her as the "little spoon" (the one being cuddled).

2) The shoulder roll. Turn your body towards your partner. Rest your upper arm around her waist and her lower arm behind you.

3) The star gazer. Most men have a fleshy area on the side of their chest. Lie on your back and have her rest on it with her head. It will be comfortable and intimate for the both of you.

4) The superman. Position some pillows lower down the bed than usual. When you're spooning, place your lower arm above you, under the pillow and out the other side.






Tips :

1) Relax. Your body should be loose and not tense when you cuddle.

2) Hold her tight and talk to her.

3) Relax. And make sure the other person is comfortable. If you're both comfortable then that's an extra bonus!

4) When you cuddle someone, be sure to put all your heart into it because doing so may raise the intimacy between the two of you.

5) Kiss her neck like you're spooning.

6) Some people are more receptive to affection than others. If the person doesn't cuddle back, either they don't want to cuddle with you or they're just not very comfortable with physical affection.

7) Tickling each other while cuddling often makes it more fun.

8) Try bear hugs; more girls like them.

9) Usually girls are more into cuddling than guys.
