LGBT Alphabet Soup
I looked this up, and the Wiki entry (should they start a new reference called Wiki-
Kink?) Just Google LGBT. This entry just proves how confusing sexuality is, and how
difficult it is to identify with a one word label.
Not only do you have LGBT (notice the Lesbians get top billing in this one), but people drop the "T" (of course they do - everybody discriminates against trannies.)
Here's some excerpts from the Wiki entry:
LGBT may also include additional "Q"s for "queer" or "questioning." Other variants may add a "U" for "unsure"; a "C" for "curious"; an "I" for "intersex"; another "T" for "transsexual" or "transvestite"; another "T", "TS", or "2" for "Two-Spirit" persons; an "A" or "SA" for "straight allies"; or an "A" for "asexual". Some may also add a "P" for "pansexual" or "polyamorous", an "H" for "***-affected", and/or an "O" for "other".
So, I guess it really should be: LGBYQQUCITS2SAAPHO. That would make one heck of a
password. I like the self-desciption of a special gurl (she's on Flickr) as a
"fetishivistic transvestite".) So add an FT to the end of the string.
Personally, I like to forget about the letters - I just like hearing "Your legs look
great in those heels" and "Where did you get that cute LBD?"
