Technical Troubles
Wanted to pass along a technical tip for friends/followers. Recently I was unable to login and thought I was banned. Entered my username and password and no response. Tried to do a password reset but was not getting reset e-mail. Thought I was really screwed out of my fav site xhamster! :(
I was running Firefox 26.0 with the NoScript extension.
Anyway I've learned that Firefox is very finicky with scripts and memory, and can get overwhelmed. There is a way to reset Firefox to a start state and that may fix a lot of problems.
The way to do this is:
1) go to the Firefox menu on the upper left, pull down the menu then go to Helo, then select Troubleshooting Information.
2) the box displayed has a button Reset Firefox.
Browser will clear out memory, extensions and then restart. Tried this and worked I was able to login.
Unfortunately I need to do this a few times while using Ff
