The doll project update 3 Doll head

So as usual life got in the way and I didn't get to start sculpting till this morning.
I slapped some clay on an armature and started sculpting. As I said before I am loosely basing my doll head on the Dollfie Dream.
This is what I have so far. It's still ruff and needs a few more hours of work but I think you can see what I am doing.
I found the Dollfie Dream head to be a bit on the bulbous side. The head I am sculpting is a combination of Dollfie anatomy and human anatomy. The eyes on the Dollfie are more toward the lower third of the face. This gives the head an unusually large amount of space above the eye line. I have placed the eyes on my head closer to the position that we are all used to seeing eyes on a person. My head is also not as large at the top and back. If you draw a line from the tip of the Dollfie nose to the forehead seam, the negative space makes the shape of a spoon. This is one of the areas I will be changing on my head by adding some more to it.
