Wrestlemania 30 Predictions
Call me a geek, nerd, booger picker, or a *********** k** but yes I still love wrestling and have been a huge fan for as long as I can remember. So you can imagine how excited I am about this weekend, the biggest weekend in the industry wrestlemania !!! Now this one is bigger than usual for a couple reasons 1. Its a milestone # (30) 2. For the first time ever they will be using the streaming format via the WWE network. 3. This year more than ever they have a diverse mix of Legends including Hulk Hogan hosting, current stars ( John Cena, Randy Orton ) & the future faces of the company Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan. Those that get it are probally sharing the same butterflies I am waiting for sunday. Those that don't ..... well Fuck You !!! lol and with that here are my predictions for this year.
Fatal 4 Way Tag Match for WWE Tag Team titles:
Uso's vs. Real Americans vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel vs. Los Matadores
The real story here is the inevitable break up of the Real Americans and Cesaro turning face setting him up for what I believe will be a big 2014. You already here the chants at the live events and I think his time with Swagger has run its course. Ryback & Axel are buried beyond saving at this point & Los Matadores is a fleeting Gimmic. your Winners: The Uso's
6 Man Tag Team Match:
The Shield vs Kane & The New Age Outlaws
This was suppose to be Roman Reign's breakout night were he separated himself from the other 2 members of the Shield and started his course as the next big "face" of the company. Now this will still happen at some point because you can see that's direction they want him to be the next Cena. But for now those plans have tabled while the group as whole makes a run as a face faction & I gotta tell you I don't hate it. As for their opponents 3 veterns getting 1 last big wrestlemania payday before moving on. This is probably a swan song for the outlaws & Kane it looks is settling in to his new role as a heel authority figure. Winners: The Shield
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal:
A new event were basically its a cash grab and exposure time for 30 mid carders. No one that really gets the juices flowing has entered to this point unless they make use of the 3 mystery spots still open ( Are you listening CM Punk ) but knowing the WWE it will be 3 dumb gimmick act.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt:
Lets face it John Cena is not going to stand for someone getting a clean pin over on him on the biggest event of the year. But the story here could be charismatic Wyatt getting bigger pops from the crowd Mr. Fruity Pebbles. His promos are epic and he can certainly hang in the ring with Cena but politics dictate this outcome unfortunately
Winner: John Cena
HHH vs. Daniel Bryan:
First part of a huge night for Bryan starts here. We obviously know with Hunter not being a full time competitor its not in the plans for him to walk away from WM30 with the strap, but he can still go in the ring and crazier things have happened.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker
Taker has gone back and forth the past couple years about if WM would be his last match and each time he's talked into coming around for his big yearly performance. This year is no different if this is going to be takers last mania and he knows it I could easily see Lesnar going over on this one. I know Taker wanted bryan in this spot this year and is concerned about the physical nature Lesnar puts on his matches. But if the Phenom is intent on backing back next year for one more go the logical choice will be for Cena to end the streak next year.
Winner: The Undertaker
WWE World Heavy Weight Title Match: Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan
A battered and beaten Daniel Bryan in his second match of the night vs the apex predator Orton and the man no one wanted back to begin with Batista. Like I said before this is all about Bryan winning the title and bring the man vs the authority storyline to a close. The question is afterwards what becomes of his two opponents. More than likely Batista will chase down Bryan for the belt over the next couple months before he has to leave to do press for his new Marvel movie. Orton is a different story because of everyones angst of Batista Orton has sorta become a Face by default so it will be interesting to see the post WM30 between him and the authority when Bryan walks away champion.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
