Why faith and church are different to me

This use to be the church I went to all the time for years. My attendance isn't what it once was for several reasons, wanting to sleep in, the fact that I'm not close to anyone on a personal level there, and then stories like this. Am I bad in thinking that sometimes church itself is one big money grab or that it's a way for those that consider themselves high and mighty to judge people like me who while not perfect have just as much faith as the next person ? I hear stories like this and I know it sounds terrible but I don't feel bad that I've only been there like 4 times over the past couple of years. Sorry if this isn't my typical entertaining entry but what can I tell you I have days like that. I'll do better next time
