10 ways to fix xhamster
So I'm writing this partly out of frustration, partly because I think for some reason I want to see this site survive and avoid a mass exodus of loyal members, and lastly not because I think I'm smarter than everybody else because I'm not but I do think I'm an out of the box thinker who happens to stumble upon a good idea or two from time to time. So while compteplating life and talking with a good friend on here I thought of what I think are some good ways to improve the overall quality of the site and to get people communicating with each other and to keep them talking. Hopefully my list does not draw the evil eye from admin.
(1.)Reduce friends list limit from 5,000 to 500
I actually think you could slice this number even smaller than that but I'll be fair to the collectors out there. Lets be real most of us don't know 5,000 people in real life and certainly make no effort to communicate with that many. Take a good look at your friends list and count how many people you actually talk to ? then count how many of those you actually enjoy talking to and don't just keep around because they have great BJ vids lol.. pretty small number huh ? So the theory behind this change would not only make folks thing long & hard before filling up valuable spots on their list but since people are more inclined to add profiles and people they are mostly sure are not fake that means with nowhere to go hopefully the number of fake profiles will dwindle!! I.E that girl with all the photo shopped pics begging for tributes.
(2.)A friendly reminder
How about if admin set a system that you get a little reminder in your message box with the profile or profiles you have not visited in 30 days ? For example it would look something this.. " xhamster member shutdowncorner you have not visited the profile of xhamster member niceknockers6 within the past 30 days why don't you stop in and see what their up to ? " Not only will this help you keep tabs on people on your list but will also keep you motivated to check your messages on a regular basis because who would want those building up ?
(3.)In relation to #2 poof their gone !
After said friendly reminder you have 7 days to visitquietlt the mentioned profile .. if not they are quietly deleted from your list for you !! Lets face it if you can't over the course of a month drop in and say hi then you didn't need them on your list.
(4.)5 strikes & your out
Now I think this rule might already exist but maybe if they enforce it are get serious about it. We see all the time girls blocking dudes for various reasons normally because the dude is fishing for someone to watch him jerk it !! Which makes it harder for us good guys ( IE me ) to talk to the females here. Well if dude A gets blocked 5 or more times during his expedition his account is suspended for 7 days.. Upon his return the next block he gets results in automatic deletion ! Tough I know but it will clear the way for the good guys & maybe women will be more accepting of invites & messages if there is not a dude on the other end wanting someone to watch him eat his own body fluids.
(5.)If Facebook can do it why can't they ?
You know how Facebook has that little people you may know section ? It's based of a friend of a friend type deal.. What if xhamster had something like that to make it easier to track down like minded people. Now I know in the videos you watch there are comments and you can just check those people out but for those of us who chat here more than watch porn we need a feature to help us find more cool folks. The list could just be compiled based on the genre of your favorites and used in comparison with your friends list & the friends of your other friends. It would be cool to see something like that on my screen instead of ads about making my pecker bigger or ads for busty grandmothers !!
(6.)Go back to old cam model format
This is where ********** is kicking xhamsters ass. When they forced models to go pro they chased away not only several people that like to cam but also tons of other members that used to visit that part of the site. Contrary to what they think & what one particular rude ass model thinks they all didn't do it for money. Let the exhibitionist be exhibitionist whether they are doing it for profit or not. People had fun in the rooms then & didn't think they were looking at a girl that was an extra in Taken !
(7.)More token options
Why can't the minimum number of tokens you purchase be 100 for $10 instead of 200 for $20 .. seems fair to me.
(8.)A benefit to uploading
Top uploaders should not only get a badge but some sort of reward or credit for their time and effort. As long as someone is uploading "LEGAL" and quality pics and vids once they have uploaded a certain amount maybe hook em with a free 1 year VIP membership or something like that !!
(9.)Only for your homies
All uploaded content IE pics or vids is automatically friends only once you upload it now you have the option to password anything you want.. but everything else you upload is friends only. This is 1 to prevent trolls & other clowns from down voting it or flagging it for no reason just to be assholes but people will actually have to get to know you and get on your friends list instead of just using your page for JO material without your knowledge
(10.)More community events
Us as members need to do more stuff that requires involvement from other members like more live group chats centered around sporting events, TV shows, movies, or just to plain shoot the shit or a cyber orgy IDK lol ( hey I'm a dude sorry had throw it out there :P ) but seriously more mixers & gatherings will give people the opportunity to meet other members and build 1 on 1 relationships & who knows some fun " activity " partners.
These are just my opinions good or bad I guess just thought I would throw some stuff out there and see what people thought !!
