New Neighbors and the bull?

I have new neighbors, they are the biker type probably in their mid 50's, both in great shape. So earlier I saw my new neighbor dude walking down the sidewalk toward his home, walking the other direction was a gigantic black guy, about 6'8" and pure muscle. They passed each other right in front of my window. My neighbor instantly turned around and called out to the big guy. The giant turned around and instantly looked like he got his guard up, expecting racism, (that's what I thought was about to happen, the neighbor kinda looks like he could be racist). But after a few moment of speaking the giant started smiling. Now i couldn't hear what was being said but the body language was clear. It looked like the giant was tentative, smiling while shaking his head a little bit. The neighbor was gesturing toward his home. This went on for about a minute and the giant, still smiling, shrugged and I could read his lips as he said OK why not, and followed my neighbor to his home. I wonder what happened afterwords, I went outside about an hour later and there was a lot of noise coming from his house, loud music barely covering sounds of grunting and squealing.
