The overworked nurse

A nurse walks up to the teller at her bank after a really long rough night shift. As sh goes to endorse her check, she reaches in her purse and inadvertantly starts signing the check with a rectal thermometer. Upon realizing what she had done, and without skipping a beat, she looks at the teller and says "Great, some asshole has my pen."
