Campus report week 1
I would first like to start by sending my sincerest apologies to Aggie nation or aka the 12th man !! I left you out of my preseason top 25 figuring after losing Johnny Clipboard your best WR and several other players to the draft that you would take a step back while trying to break in newer and younger players. Led by Soph. QB Kenny Hill Texas A&M rolled into Columbia last Thursday night and laid an ass whipping on the Ole Ball Coach's squad. 44/60 for 511 yards & 3TD while the defense also did their part holding Carolina to 67 yards on the ground !
Around other parts of the country people will say FSU & Alabama struggled to take care of inferior opponents I say West VA & Okalahoma St. are probably better than we initially thought. No#2 Oregon rolled without any issue as well as their upcoming opponent #4 Michigan setting up their huge battle in Eugene this Saturday..
Here's the updated xham Top 25 Poll
1. Florida St. - Hopefully the Noles figure out a way to run the ball better if your nit picking
2. Alabama - Yes they beat a game WVU team in week 1 but Saban still has to sort out the QB dilemma
3. Oregon - Drop 1 spot for not putting 70 on South Dakota
4. Michigan St.- Have a chance to really impress with a win Saturday
5. Oklahoma - 1st semi real test comes in 2 weeks vs Tenn.
6. Auburn
7. LSU- Huge comeback on Sat aided by poor Wisc. playcalling

5 must see games for week 2
Virginia Tech @ #14 Ohio St.: Freshman QB J.T Barrett didn't look too bad in week 1 filling in Braxton Miller throwing for over 2******ds and 2TD can he continue to improve against a normally stingy Hokie defense ? 8:00pm Saturday on ESPN
