New games - true story

In my college all students were required to take four pass/fail P.E. courses, sounds simple enough but most classes were either A) strenuous- weight training, cross country training, anything ending in training. B) tedious- running, jogging, spinning. or C) a three year waiting list- bowling, ping pong, frisbee golf. Classes so fun only seniors could get in.
One such class was New Games, also unofficially called Nude Games, a class designed and mandatory for students that were planning on teaching P.E. grades K - 12, teaching health/hygiene, or teachers who planned on coaching a school sport, which really did help jazz up our resume , not to mention a pay raise bump. As a perk of being a team manager (water polo, and yes, I did do it just to hang out with naked buff guys in the locker room) you could take it at any time. Now the appeal of this course was that it was a full semester course for all four credits. vs four quarters (a year) and was not pass fail, but historically was the class was so fun, it was an easy A. The first quarter was three daytime classes a week M-W-F, co-ed elementary new games, imagine college students playing freeze tag, red rover, duck duck goose, I'm not going to lie to you, IT WAS FUN! The evening T-TH classes were gender specific and covered health, sex ed, and locker room etiquette which was held in private in the locker room. There are always rumors about popular classes, they ranged from it's clothing optional to nudity was mandatory to we watched porn and the new games included spin the bottle, seven in heaven and we had key parties and orgies. One rumor was the hippies that first taught this class also started this nudist movement in the 70's and all the college board members had such fond memories of the class, it's never been changed. It was like the nude Yoga class from the movie The Herad Summer.
First evening class in the locker room we were told to suit up as usual, athletic shoes, shorts or sweats, while T-shirt but then we received our newly issued New Games jerseys, which featured (chosen in a co-operation exercise) team name, team colors and numbers. We passed with flying colors as the Cubs, (bear, lion, seal, etc,) autumnal brown and gold, because it was a fall class and number choose by lottery 00 - 99. The coach said every year without fail the first male to choose, picks 69. I chose 99 cause I like to spoon. People choose their numbers randomly or lucky numbers, b-days, etc. till every number was gone, one mystery solved, why only enroll 100 men and 100 women to such a popular class. I had forgot all about them.
