Campus Report Week 4
So much of week 4 was circled around Jameis Winston being suspended for #1 Florida St.'s game against Clemson on Saturday night. Actually the entire narrative leading up to it was how would the voters react to the Seminole's loss knowing their best player didn't play. How would FSU rebound after defeat and play the rest of the season and could they still compete for a national championship. As if it was forgone conclusion the defending national champions #1 team in the nation who was playing at home on the back of a 18 game winning streak & a roster loaded with NFL prospects had no chance against an annually overhyped, overrated Clemson team who time after time on national T.V against a top opponent in a big game underperforms. What happened ? While not pretty the winning streak reached 19 games... So now with their QB & best player reinstated can we all agree FSU is the best team in the nation until someone beats them ?? Elsewhere Auburn, Georgia, & Alabama ( who may have finally found their QB ) all reasserted their dominance in the country's best conference ( the SEC ). Wisconsin's huge rushing performance of 644yds in a 68-17 proved to be maybe the most impressive statistical performance of the week. Here is your updated top 25 :
1.Florida St. - Looks to be smooth sailing until Notre Dame comes calling in mid October
2.Oregon - Marcus Mariota as of today is probably Heisman frontrunner
3.Alabama - Gotta be honest never seen a Saban offense this explosive

Small School Ass whippings of the week
These victories were easier than Miley Cyrus after a molli binge @ the club on Friday night !!
Michigan St. def. Eastern Michigan 73-14 - The Spartan defense has taken a step back this year giving up 22pts per game .. thing is they're 6th in the nation in scoring @ 48pts per game !
Texas A&M def. SMU 58-6 - The Aggies have petitioned for this segment to be called Gig-em !!!
Georgia def Troy 66-0 - Another sad case of 1 undermanned dude forced to take on an elite SEC program.
* A peach state bonus Atlanta Falcons def. Tampa Bay Succaneers 56-14 - I know this is a NFL matchup but the Falcons had to work to not drop 70 on the Bucs and if you give up 56 and lose by over 40 you belong on this list !!

Top 5 Matchups this week
Not too much to choose from but here we go ...
#1 Florida St. @ N.C State - Winston is back at the helm after his suspension and the Noles emotional win last week over Clemson.. will they avoid a hangover loss against a Wolfpack squad that has dropped 40+ on their last 3 opponents. - 3:30pm Sat on ABC
Arkansas vs. #6 Texas A&M - The Razorbacks average 48pts per game good for 3rd in the country. The Aggies average 55pts per game good for 2nd & over 400yds per game through the air. Jerry world is in for a SEC shootout ! 3:30pm Sat CBS
#14 Stanford @ Washington - The Cardinal have to be on upset alert traveling on the road to take on an undefeated Huskie club that boats the 2 top sack leaders in the PAC12 - 4:15pm Sat FOX
Missouri @ #18 South Carolina - Plain & simple both teams have to get this win to stay in the SEC east race. The tigers have to shake off the sting of that upset loss at home to a bad Indiana team last week while the Gamecocks seem to have righted the ship after the season opening blowout at the hands of A&M - 7:00pm Sat ESPN
#7 UCLA @ #12 Arizona ST. - The PAC12 could be the 2nd best conference in America and if these 2 teams have aspirations of winning it and having an outside shot at the national title it's a must win for both teams !!! - 10:00pm Thursday FOX Sports 1
