Always too busy.

Am I the only one that has found it hard to adjust to having a lover that used to have all of the time in the world and now has no time at all?

I have never been very good at being patient but I have to be.

Either one holds on or one lets go.

I could not be upset with this person because he was doing what he had to do as a man. Also the "relationship" started with me as a dirty little secret so even when he had time he had no obligation to spend it on me. No one knew about me, after all.

Imagine a single man that can not talk to his woman on the phone because she is a secret.

I have no patience. I have done this crap before and I have no time for it anymore.

So now, new situations demand that I adjust to lovers that now have more to do in the day. How do other couples deal with workaholic lovers? How do they deal with their partners management of time?

I am encouraging. I always encourage my boys to do what works and to be men/ women, handle business. I can be neglected for a bit. If I love someone and they drop everything to tend to me, and they stop handling business, I lose respect for them.

I think I have become confused by my own policy.
