College Football Report Rivalry Edition

First of all I would like to apologize for my absence on the college football scene the past few

weeks. Personal & proffessional responsibilities have been keeping me busy !! Along with trying

to prepare everything for that awesome rewards show I'm planning ;) But here am ready to give you

the rundown of this upcoming week's action on a rivalry weekend but first a quick recap on how we

got where we are now. Alabama has taken over as the #1 team in the country in just about every

poll. Over an undefeated FSU team who much to everyone else's shegrin keeps on winning. The FBS

single game rushing record has been broken twice over the past 2 weeks, 1st by Melvin Gordon who

put up 408yds against Nebraska only to have that record broken a week later by Oklahoma freshman

Samaje Perine who put up 427 yards against Kansas a week later ! This is the final full Saturday

of games before all the conference championship games next weekend and before we find out who

will be the 4 participants in the 4 team playoff. So while your filling up on leftover turkey and

pie enjoy this report and a good slate of rivalry games this weekend. Here's how the top 25

*1.Alabama- In most people's minds the top squad in the country in the nation's top conference
*2.Oregon - The ducks just need to avoid 2 more landmines and they're a lock for the playoffs

*4.Missisippi St.- Question is do the Bulldogs get in as a 1 loss team even if they're not a
conference champion ?

Jason Vorhees def. Horny Teens 144-10 : Team Vorhees year in & year out shows it's dominance

over it's opponents with ease in a variety of ways. Talk about beating in different ways !

The Smurfs def. Gargamel 97 - 0 : Despite lacking in size or high tech tools the little blue team

always seem to find a way to out duel they're much larger and more sinister arch rival everytime.

Inspector Gadget def. Dr.Claw 131-0 : "I'll get you Gadget !!! Next Time !!!!!!!!!!!!!! " not

quite good Dr. for some reason you just don't matchup well with the human swiss army knife & it's

all about matchups !

Itchy def. Scratchy 114-0 : I mean this matchup has literally been a bloodbath over the years !!

It's a wonder Scratchy still shows up for these things.

Harlem Globetrotters def. Washington Generals 14,000 - 6 : How did those scrappy Generals manage

to win 6 ? No one knows ! But this matchup has been a laugher with no relief in sight for the

losers :p

Top 5 Matchups Rivalry Saturday

The Bayou Classic 2:30pm NBC- If you don't watch this game for any other reason watch it for the halftime show where both bands will be rocking all your contemporary R&B & hip hop hits in New Orleans big band style. Oh and the winner gets the final Waterford Crystal trophy & a trip to the SWAC title game.

"The Game " 12:00pm ABC - In what is probably Bradie Hoke's final game as Michigan head coach, the Wolverines come in as heavy underdogs. Meanwhile Ohio St. controls it's own destiny to get to the 4 team playoff and J.T Barrett is playing as well as any QB in the country. But records and accolades don't matter in this bitter rivalry.

The Egg Bowl 3:30pm CBS - Miss St. still has national Championship hopes while the Rebels of Ole Miss are trying to ruin their arch rivals season. By the way I'm not a fan of eggs.

"The Civil War " 8:00pm ABC- Oregon is the heavy favorite against their in state rival but a trip to Corvales is never easy, if the Ducks win next win in the PAC12 title game they'll be playing for a spot in the final 4. The Beavers ( yes I said beaver on a porn site ) are looking to upset their arch rival and make a bowl game.
