Blog 2 - A letter from one of my first photographe
Leigh asked me to write a review of working with her so she could share it with potential photographers so I'll try to keep this brief for all those interested. I met Leigh thru a mutual photographer friend of mine named Dennis who met Leigh and did a shoot with her. He used my studio to do the shoot and I was present during the shoot he did with her. It turns out it was Leigh's first photo shoot ever and Dennis wasn't too sure what to do with her as he also was inexperienced so I watched over the shoot but didn't contribute,instead,I gave Leigh my card and suggested I do a shoot with her in the near future. The shoot Dennis did with her was in a sort of Secretary style outfit which I thought was nice but what he captured didn't translate too well.
A few weeks later I had set a shoot up with Leigh and the first shoot i did with her was in a cowgirl type of outfit with white tassle boots,blue skirt and also the Black shirt/white skirt/tassle boots outfit. I have always been a fan of plus size women and Leigh is stunning in person. That shoot went very well and the shots came out great. I immediately booked another shoot with her for a couple weeks later at which point I shot her in a few Lingerie/Nightie outfits. The Black nightie and The Pink Nightie were both great shoots and I took a few small video clips to document the session. The final shoot I did with her was in a pink skirt/fishnets/pink boots and it's my favorite of them all. The outfit and the session were both great. Leigh is very easy to shoot,easy to work with,you can get almost any pose out of her you need to and is always willing to hold the shots as long as needed which is something quite rare in this field.
I introduced Leigh to my personal mentor Robert Alden who is a great photographer and he really wanted to shoot her as well. He is known for costumes and cosplay outfits with most of his models and he thought he could get great things out of Leigh. He did,He shot her as Batgirl,Supergirl and I believe Captain America? He also did the Devil shoot and the Miss Muffet on the tuffet shoot as well. He captured some amazing shots of her during those shoots and I was present for the devil shoot and i captured a few clips of that as well.
Both myself and Robert look forward to working with her again in the near future! I know she has started to work with other photographers which is great for her and I'm glad she got her start among my inner circle of photographer friends.
