Into the Palat Where No Distaste Lives...
Into the palat where no distaste lives
Where life is welcomed with an eventful shiver
As the selfless sliver of your feet upon the new dewy grass progresses
There you stand
A man upon this brilliant canvas
Its features tangled with unseen age having seen it all
Its brazen grass stained green
And all its petals dripping with color
It was because of this brilliant canvas that I saw you
You stuck out with your simple face
Plain as Jane attire, ancients goggles
And those shoes with a sullen black color bestowed upon them
It was not just me that saw
For it seemed as right there life stood speechless with pity
And yet as I tried to look elsewhere I could not stop looking back at you
It were as if I were drawn to you
You strange creature who dared to perch upon the brilliant canvas
And yet I see you trying to break contact too
As you glance in every other direction but mine
So I get curious, or rather, my feet do
My feet unbeknownst to me begin to pattle up to you with amazement
Lightly my fingers contract this "catastrophic" curiousity
Lightly tapping along your frame unsure if you are real
Smoothly I bring my soft hands upon your scruffy face
I giggle, having never felt a tickle like this before
You finally turned to my direction and something happened...
"Charming girl whose hair is divine, black as ebony is your skin
With those sweet eyes so curious I felt them watching me
You are truly pleasant and in it all I find myself drawn to you
To take you away to my world that is hell compared to your heaven here
To take you away with hopes that with you that will change!"
My lips took flight that day
Corners perked up, white teeth shown so clearly
And away we fled and birthed a beautiful baby
You,The man and I,the women agreed they here they would live forever
Just with love we would stay and live forever
Just the three of us feasting on life...
A beautiful poem written by a beautiful girl. But with a back story you would see that this is a product. Of what you may ask? A lie. An illusion. This girl believed this man loved her but later found he was a bad man. To find out the back story on this poem written by this girl please read on...
