Censored Japanese porn
I came of age in a time when the only porn that existed at least as far as I knew and had access to, could be found on the magazine rack e.g. Playboy, Penthouse.
I was thinking about this lately. A couple of posts I've made received thoughtless negative comments from people who seem to be greatly offended by the fact they can't see genitalia because of the standard mosaic censoring that's applied to all mainstream JAV. Although my natural reaction in the past was to feel incensed I've come to realize you're better off to ignore them. There's a scene in the movie The Big Lebowski where a Sheriff has just finished spewing a whack of insults and threats at Jeff Bridges character 'the dude' then pauses to get his reaction. Looking totally nonplussed the dude says "Sorry I wasn't listening". Luckily I can adopt that attitude without fear of a coffee cup being whipped at my head.
Seriously, there are few things as ridiculous as someone giving negative feedback on a site like this just because something they see doesn't suit their personal taste. But for those folks who feel compelled to do it, and they're generally a minority, don't be surprised if your feedback inspires complete lethargy on my part.
From my perspective, censored JAV doesn't detract very much, if at all, from the experience. The scariest movies and scenes in movies that I've ever seen have been effective not because of any conspicuous display of bloodshed or graphic v******e, but because the movie manages to convey and/or imply in a subtle way something truly frightening.
