Free site, tokens, and attitudes
A week ago, a new model sent me a PM saying that she doesn't want me in her room any more, because I come in and say nothing and don't tip and "act like a basic." I had to laugh. First, of all, basics are usually the ones saying ridiculous things and blasting out the chat room with noise. Second, I was not in her room that long. I went in to see what she was doing, and to see if there were any trolls or haters that needed to be reported. There are a lot of people in cam rooms who don't say anything.
Let me quote from the xHamster FAQ for models:
"1. Get tipped for your show
Members are allowed to send tokens as tips at public show. They can tip the models as a show of appreciation for them sharing themselves and for answering requests. It’s not required to give the models tips but the models go on cam for free so it is a VERY nice gesture to give them tokens for sharing their bodies and time with the viewers!"
Note that it says the users "can" tip (not must) and "it's not required to give the models tips." If I make a request or there is something I appreciate, I tip well. However, users are allowed to stay quiet in the room if they want. With that kind of attitude, she won't last long here.
