BLOG TO ALL UP-LOADERS.
Owing to time pressures, i have decided that from now on in, i shall only comment on galleries where up-loaders have shown some sign of appreciation and acknowledgment of comments made by me. I appreciate the hard work that up-loaders put in for our enjoyment but too many of them complain at the lack of reaction when they themselves contribute nothing by way of accolade or encouragement. We've all seen profiles that have enjoyed the benefit of over 100K hits over a number of years and the creator has made less than 50 comments during the entire period. In my opinion, such people don't deserve support and i have declined more " friends " requests than i have granted during my 1 year on xHamster, precisely for this reason. I always p.m. them with my explanation in the hope that they might get the message and review their thinking on the subject.
As well as recognising good quality work in my comments, i will invariably try to inject some humour in my remarks in the hope that it will attract more viewers for the benefit of the gallery's creator. I don't see why i should attempt to use my ingenuity to help them, if they can't spare a minute or two to respond in some way. I'm not implying that they need to acknowledge every comment i make but it is always nice to know that they are being read and are appreciated.
The only other point i would make is that i have only made 2 critical comments with a similar number of " thumbs downers " over the entire year and on each rare occasion, i have always accounted for my actions. If i don't like something, i will not comment at all rather than be derogatory towards the creator who is invariably trying to entertain us to the best of their ability. I have no time for 'thumbs downers" and have asked xHamster to withdraw the facility. I doubt that they are sufficiently enterprising enough to do so !
My next blog will probably be about DALAI the LAMA who will shortly be going on the road with his David Bowie Tribute act and will be away for 3 months. He'll probably be appearing at a place near you so watch for him. Incidentally, the planned gig in NOVOSIBIRSK has had to be cancelled for bad weather! I will shortly be introducing HEDGEHOG'S little nephew HENRY, who will take over the reins in Dalai's absence.
