Windamar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale Dec 2015
I had planned this trip back in July for December 3rd till the 6th. I was really looking forward to it. About a week before I was to leave I looked at the forecast and saw that it was going to be raining much of the time I was going to be in Fort Lauderdale. And sure enough it rained hard for the three days I was at Windamar. I got there a few hours before check in but the manager allowed me to check in early. He handed me the key and started telling me the rules. Basic stuff like being rowdy, don't let anybody onto the property that didn't belong, refund policy and stuff like that. He went over the planned parties happening on Saturday and Sunday. Then he said public sex is allowed any where on the property except in the pool and hot tub. I was a little floored at that. The way he said it was as if not only public sex is acceptable but it's almost expected once you check in! I have since read that the gay resort close by called the Worthington has a rule against public sex. Glad I didn't go there.
After I checked in I explored the place. At this point the rain had not started and men were sunning by the pool. It is clothing optional but nobody wears clothes! I noticed that right away. Everybody was naked and very casual about it. Some were wearing towels around their waists but most walked around naked. I went for swim and laid out on a lounger. Then the rain started. That pretty much put a damper on my stay. It's no fun going to a beach resort when off the coast sits a tropical depression dumping rain. There were breaks in the rain to walk around outside and get something to eat or go for a swim. But the weather ruined the weekend parties. According to many of the repeat customers the place is packed on the weekends and the action is awesome even during cloudy weather. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
Even with the weather being terrible I liked this place. The beach is a block away and shops and restaurants are walking distance. Most of the men were 35 to 55 with a few younger and older men. What surprised me was that the older men were in nice shape with nice cocks and really loved fucking at the drop of a hat. I did get some action in the video room which has been nicely upgraded as were the beds and bathrooms. My advice is monitor the weather before you go there if you can. I will be back and hope the weather is better.
