Shit! 40 years ago today 180 likely lads signed on a piece of paper and wondered what the fuck we were letting ourselves in for. Who would make it and who would bomb out. That got even more apparent when they fell us in to go do the signing and one Instructor went to give the order in what we later found out was his customary voice level and the other Instructor Just went no yelling yet, they haven't signed on yet

It is amazing how naive a group of lads between 15 and 26 can be.
