Work had been hectic over the last couple of months. Things were getting crazy: deadlines, reviews, sales conferences. It was definitely time for a break. I needed a vacation.. some time all to myself. No colleagues, no buddies. Solitude would be bliss! I began looking out for holiday spots where I could unwind for a couple of days. A lot of places popped into my mind: sri lank, bali, thailand,singapore, the maldives.

After much though, I finalized on Thailand.. Seemed the idea spot: culture,beaches and some fun nightlife and it fit my budget perfectly. Yup, the day had finally come , i was off to the airport, boarded my red-eye flight and landed in Bangkok early the next morning. After a day of soaking in the city, i left for Phuket, A wonderful little seaside resort town. My taxi dropped me off at the palm resort, My word.. Was it opulent!
