10 Things I Look for in a Dominatrix
I got paid on Thursday which means it's time to book my next session with a pro Domme. There are a wide variety of choices out there and today I thought I'd share with you some of the things I look for when selecting a professional.
1. Authenticity. There are tons of e***** types who will spank for money. A hooker with a flogger in her purse is not my idea of a pro Domme. A real dominatrix lives and breathes femdom. Most do it not only professionally, but at home in their private relationships as well. For me it's much more exciting knowing that the person on the other end of the whip is into the scene as much as I am.
2. Equipment. This really goes back to number 1. If you see items like a St. Andrew's cross, spanking bench, or any other BDSM furniture you know that the Domme has invested in her craft. The last dominatrix I saw bought a fucking machine which run $700 and up.
3. Experience. I'm someone who wants to see a few gray hairs on the pilot before I get on the plane. When a session is over I want to feel pain, but not be injured permanently. That's where the training, knowledge, and skill come into play. Most of the pros I see are in their 30s and 40s and have been around the block. I'm not saying a woman in her 20s couldn't be an effective pro, but before I'd book a session I'd have to know she's been mentored, or at least has been in the scene for more than 5 years. I'm not about to be a guinea pig for someone who doesn't know what they're doing.
4. Clothing. This doesn't mean she has to be full-on leather and boots, but she has to have a dominant look about her. Any kind of outfit that exudes power will do it for me.
5. Price. Like any other service, you want to get value for your money. You'll see a wide variety of prices depending on what you are looking for. Most of the Dommes I see charge between $200-$300 an hour. You can find a few that are cheaper, and quite a few who are more expensive. The best Dommes don't watch the clock, and if you wind up going over an hour don't charge you extra.
6. Fetishes. Most will do feet,shoe, stocking CBT, spanking, bondage,leash & collar, role playing,sissy training, humiliation,flogging,paddles, and whips. There are none that include intercourse as part of the package so don't get your hopes up. Strapons are a gray area. Some will, some won't. Same with edging...ruined orgasms and such. If she's touching your penis with her hand consider yourself lucky. Very few will do golden showers or s**t play, and the ones that do charge a lot of money to fulfill those fantasies.
7. Location. If a Domme is working out of a hotel I'm not interested. I like a place that is private where screams of pain and pleasure can't be heard. I also like dungeons with plenty of space to play.
8. Something different. I like new experiences, and if there is a pro who is offering something I haven't tried before it piques my interest.
9. Attitude. I am not looking for Miss Manners. I want a Domme who knows how to take charge and put me in my place. It doesn't mean she has to raise her voice, but she needs to be comfortable taking the lead and controlling the scene.
10. Class. Personally I prefer women who are intelligent and carry themselves with air of class and dignity. Even though it's only for a short time, I want to be able to put them on a pedestal.
