How to treat a submissive, A few guidelines
Whether you are in a marriage contract, long term commitment, or a brief encounter with a partner, the guidelines I propose will provide healthy steps on HOW TO TREAT A SUBMISSIVE.
1. Because the submissive is the complete counterpart to the Dominant, the sub should be allowed to express how the relationship should grow.
2. The submissive is in CONTROL. By choice, the sub has elected to be dominated.
3. The submissive should be treated as the crown jewel of the Dominant. Do not abuse, misuse, or subject the sub to situations that are uncomfortable, unless agreed upon (i.e. the sub may not like to be humiliated but does so because of the exhilarating effect).
4. Recognize that the sub’s desire is to please or to pleasure because this is the innate characteristic of the sub. (How many subs do you know that are in the workplace to provide service, i.e. teachers, secretaries, waitresses, etc.)
5. Provide the sub some “time-out”. A 24/7 sub can get “burn-out” so allow the sub some time to act normal to go out with friends, shopping, alone time, or whatever to rejuvenate.
6. Let the sub know how important she/he is to you in your relationship because the sub has relinquished power and authority to you.
