Question for Tampa folks; Does Distance matter?
One of the issues folks contemplate on websites like this where people can chat and meet for fun, is how far one lives away from you before it is considered outside of their comfort zone. The farthest I ever had to drive to meet up with a gorgeous woman was over 70 miles when I lived up north. Some prefer to have some fun with someone local. However, how do you define “local” in Tampa Bay and even those south of us in Bradenton?
I live on the west side of the three bridges that connect us to Tampa. The drive from west to east can at times be reasonable and at times, it can be maddening where you regret being alive when you are stuck in traffic. It is a short distance, less than 50 miles, to drive from Tampa to St. Pete or drive from Clearwater to Tampa.
So my question for those who live in the area, when you say you want someone local, does the fact that they live in another city which requires you to cross either the Gandy bridge, 60 or 275 affect your choice of friend? Sure, it could be 22 miles away but with those red lights and traffic on the bridge, it could take almost an hour for you to drive from your place to their place.
So, does distance matter when it is that close by or are you like the headless horseman and are not willing to cross the bridge? What's the farthest distance you would consider and what was the farthest your Playmate/FWB lived from you?
