Unprotected sexual intercourse with clients is stupid, disrespectful, and totally irresponsible.
Considering the number of people the average e***** has sex with in the run of even one month, the risk of unknowingly being responsible for causing a massive outbreak should be far too high for anyone to consider this to be a good idea. Unfortunately, this extremely hazardous activity is still offered by a small percentage of providers.
This is likely due to the relatively substantial percentage of clients searching for a provider who is willing to overlook her normal requirement of protecting her own safety, and the safety of her other clients. A reckless act, for which she might earn a paltry hundred dollars over her regular rate... Or maybe even less.
As sex workers, we must realize, and fully respect the catastrophic consequences which could potentially unfold, if we choose to act in a manner which is reckless, and self-centred. We need to look beyond ourselves and our clients. There are wives, girlfriends, FWBs, and casual hook-ups, who could be negatively affected by our poor judgement. Think what you will of their partner, but these people are innocent, at least within the confines of this situation.
Unfortunately, the negative consequences don't stop there. The negative effects of passing an STI onto one or more clients can be far-reaching. Imagine the humiliation and embarrassment you would feel if the client posted the details of what happened in an online review forum? Imagine the devastating toll it would take on your service, your income, and your entire livelihood.
Even something simple like chlamydia, could force you to move to another city, or possibly end your career permanently. If you happen to contract herpes, hepatitis, or ***/AIDS, your career is history, and there's a very good chance you're health will slip... It could even cost you your life.
If I thought I had a choice I'd fuck every client bareback, making them finish inside me every time. In fact, there is nothing I would love more. I don't like using condoms any more than anyone else, and I will admit that I have been tempted to overlook my 100% protection policy on many occasions over the five years I've been e*****ing. However, the nightmarish consequences rolled-over my inner dirty-slut, and intense attraction to all things of a wrong, and deviant nature, like a runaway locomotive... Fucking conscience!
Those in society who are informed, and choose to rely on facts rather than outdated stereotypes, know that sex workers are proven to have a far lower rate of STI contraction and transmission, when compared to sexually active individuals who are not involved in the sex trade. The measures which the vast majority of sex workers take to mitigate the seemingly endless risks associated with intimate sexual contact, are responsible for our impeccable, and enviable safety record.
I am of the opinion that all sex workers should take ownership of this accomplishment, and view it as a source of pride. We've come a long way from the days when we actually were "disease spreaders", rather than simply being labelled as such, by society's ill-informed... To whom I defiantly raise my middle finger, while strongly recommending, that the the ignorant fuck should invest less time into passing errorenous judgement on others, and instead, read more, so that maybe they stop presenting themselves to the world as clueless morons.
Let's do everything in our power to distance ourselves from that unpleasantness, and continue to prove to the unenlightened members of society that they couldn't be more wrong about sex workers... Because, nothing feels better than informing a righteous tit, just how incorrect, and invalid their argument is, knowing you have an indisputable ace up your sleeve. Check... and mate.
If we want to be viewed as professionals, then we must conduct ourselves, and our services in a manner which reflects professionalism. Not just sometimes, but every single time.
