Ava, a work in progress
We have not had the warmest weather here in Florida so our (actually my) time at the swimming pool has been reduced. My friend Patti was being visited by her sister Ava after Ava’s divorce (which Ava joking called her 50 year birthday present) and we had met at Patti’s over drinks one cool afternoon, but made plans to meet up at the country club pool in a couple of days when the weather was supposed to be in the 80’s.
Patti and Ava got there a bit late and they were clearly a bit ***** already at 1 PM. Ava wore a sheer cover-up and I could see that underneath it she had on a bikini. Ava is barely five feet tall, has cute perky breasts and a bit of a beer belly. Her butt cheeks peeked out from under her bikini bottom and they were so adorable that I wanted to take a nibble. Patti joined the others in the pool for aerobics and Ava reclined next to me.
Ava made small talk for a while and teased that she was the color of a jar of mayonnaise compare to Patti and I. We both agreed that it was a Pennsylvania vs. Florida thing. We sipped Long Island Iced Tea and watched Patti and the other women go through the workout. Then Ava told me that her husband had dumped her for one of the young executive assistants at his company. Ava said that the other woman was in her mid-twenties; had a c***d; and was very tall and curvy.
Then Ava turned to me and said that she was not afraid of competing with the other woman because she did have certain skills. But in the back of her mind a little voice said to Ava: where were his lips and dick before they were in you? What leftovers or sloppy seconds were you getting? Then Ava turned away and whispered that she had been totally faithful to him for many years.
A few sips later Ava said that Patti told her that my husband was an executive, travelled for days or weeks at a time, but it did not seem to bother me. How did I cope with that? Wasn’t I jealous? Concerned? I told Ava that if Joe wanted to sample the forbidden fruit, I was OK with it as long as I knew about it. Or in some cases, I was with them. And that I was free to do the same thing, under the same conditions.
She actually gasped out a “what?” I said that if she and her ex-husband went to a party and met another couple and there was a very strong sexual attraction, my bet would be that they would just go home and each would fantasize that they were with the other couple. That fantasy would make the sex more intense, but still leave some level of frustration or desire. However, Joe and I would determine that there was a four way attraction and then we would each experience the other couple. When we got home we would tell each other all about it and usually our encounter would be intense and satisfying and draining. Then I added that sometimes it was a three way attraction. I gave her the PG version of our encounter with Ronnie and Chad. And our solo encounters with Kim.
