Farewell, friends – Final Blog? Rev. 06-08-18
As a 1%-er, it appears that the “writing is on the wall”. Old Hamster is in a c.oma with little to no chance of survival.
Regrettably, we knew this day would come. Decisions are now going to be made.
For me, this is tough because I have made many friends and invested a lot of time to this site.
I have been using “beta” for over a week now and noted that some improvements have been made. But a lot of refinements to the galleries, messaging, news feed, computer “crashes” and others still need to be addressed. I will be checking periodically to see if improvements have been made before I decide to call it “quits”.
To all my friends, subscribers, and fellow users: I will leave my profile intact for your viewing pleasure but I have suspended my uploading of new material at this time.
I have been looking at other sites and I have created several user accounts but I have not dedicated time to build up the content as of yet. My user name will be the same as on this site: “lmpx7777” for those who are interested.
If you wish to follow me, please post me a comment and I will contact you when I find my new “home”.
Finally, the past 3 years have been a blast with no regrets. And who knows, I “might” come to like the new design when I figure it all out. It is just that I will miss the simplicity of “old” hammy.
