I’m sleeping with my nephew…is it wrong?
I don't know why I'm all of a sudden deciding to post this here and ask for advice, but here I am.
MY boyfriend is 31 years younger than I am.
That might be all right but he’s also my nephew.
Now when i say boyfriend we are obviously not exactly Facebook official, but are in a intimate relationship.
My nephew was always around my two sons growing up, who have always enjoyed his company and looked up-to him as their older cousin.
I’m 49 and he and I have always been close since his mum died when he was 15.
She was my older sister.
We’re both very touchy-feely people and have been
there for each other. We have kissed before in a friendly, family way, but
that was all.
I’ve been single since my husband walked out four years ago. He see's our c***dren each weekend and is still a good father to my boys.
My nephew had technically had nowhere to live when his mother passed away due to his father not being present in his life, so he moved in with us in the spare room.
We often went for a drink together in our local pub where there was no problem with him getting served and one evening I told him I felt old and unattractive, which i really did at the time. Being left by the father of my two c***dren really hit my confidence, especially adding the fact he went to a new woman. I was left raising my two c***dren and my nephew which left me with so little free time. I managed to go out on a few tinder dates but nothing more than that. When i told my nephew how i felt he actually said he thought I looked good, like a woman should.
A couple of evenings later, he told me I looked stunning. We were having a
cuddle at the time (No different to how i snuggle with my sons watching tv) but in the heat of the moment I said, “If you weren’t my nephew, I’d be all over
you.”
Then he kissed me passionately. I know I should have stopped it there and
then but my whole body was alight.
We slept together that night and have done ever since. This was 14 months
ago. Nobody suspects anything, as he has his own room and we act like a
normal aunt and nephew when others are around, but behind closed doors we’re
a proper couple.
I know he’ll find someone younger eventually and I accept that, but all my
friends say they’ve never seen me so happy and joke about me having found a
new man. Surely we’re not doing anything wrong, even if we’re related?
